My only complaint is not enough people commenting on / interacting with posts. I’m guilty of it myself (I was also mostly a lurker on Reddit) so I’m not trying to blame anyone but Lemmy often feels like a ghost town.
This, and other things. It all boils down to the government wanting to control information and you can’t do that when a company believes in freedom of speech.
Hopefully if all goes well in review, and review times are not extremely long right now, then I will be releasing Arctic on the AppStore within the next week or so....
I respect her speaking up for herself, but once a company has decided to let you go there is no amount of talking you can do to convince them to change their mind.
Google search failed to even find a hollywood movie, even after 1 hour of attempts. I don’t really care about the movie, but I am terrified by the prospect that google now ceased to function on this basic level. Why is this happening?...

Looks like an update was just published today with a number of fixes. This app is by far the best Lemmy app (for its ability to play videos and gifs inline alone) so I’m more than ok waiting for a small developer to take time their time with updates. Not every dev only makes apps as a full time job. Most have full time gigs and work on apps like this in their spare time.

I was worried for a second until I read the article. $1 more/ is not a huge price increase and I’m ok with it considering they haven’t increased the price as long as I’ve been subscribed and I’ve been subscribed for at least a decade. Also, I use Spotify daily…for hours at a time.

I played through the entire campaign as a sorcerer. Love the sorcerer. Didn't touch the other characters. Now I'm trying the others out. The barbarian isn't wowing me. But the necromancer is so much fun. I especially like the exploding corpses skill and the domino effect when the monsters keep advancing into already dead ones. I...
I started as a Necromancer and felt weak going into the early 50s plus the blight corpse explosion is annoying…can’t see anything. Switched to Rogue and have absolutely loved it. Started trying out Druid and I’m not amazed yet but I’m still very early into it so I’ll see how it goes.
