Neat, but contrary to the video description this method only works on lead-acid cells, not other types such as lithium-ion cells. Even then, it only works if the reason the lead-acid battery doesn’t work is because its electrolyte has evaporated.
There is also no need for the fancy gel he’s using; a little bit of deionized water will do the trick just as well.
Beautiful - but does it last? The holes and cracks are likely due to localized wear, meaning the mosaic would need to have at least the same wear resistance as the surrounding material.
