If you’re not seeing spam or abuse, then we’re probably doing ok. But if you are seeing it and it’s impacting your experience, that’s what I’d like to know about
Most of the spam bots I see come from kbin.social, but I am purging them and their history as soon as they’re reported.
Other than that, it’s more trying to pro-actively address an issue with bigotry, because kbin.social is effectively unmoderated at the moment, and unmoderated instances full of bigots have been a problem before.
At the moment, it’s not a huge problem on kbin.social though, hence the discussion, rather than outright defederation
