If you were designing a file format in 2024, would you use JSON? XML? YAML? INI? I’m envisaging something that’s primary human-writable and machine-readable, so maybe closer to a config file format than anything else.

I've been sitting on Revision's social media account all weekend so didn't feel like posting here, but what a weekend! I feel a thousand times more inspired to make good stuff. I reckon MFX's demo was probably my favourite from Revision this year. Extremely well directed and those billowing fire effects absolutely nailed the non-emissive elements (ash, tar, etc.) that are so often overlooked when creating big flashy eruptions of flame.

Slipstream and SVatG presents.... Immaterial! Proudly resented for the first time at Revision 2024, the first full demoscene production on the Wii U!

This was incredibly difficult to keep a secret. I created all the 3D models for thos project, and @vurpo did an amazing job with the materials.
