There's also the bathroom thing. I haven't been able to get top surgery yet, so I'll get a bra not a binder and be fine. Mattie…well. We'll see how often that actually gets enforced? Most places it’s just a fine and there haven’t been reports of successful prosecution.

Healthcare, however, is a hard legal no go. In fact, SB 1580 makes sure providers can now can just refuse anyone basically based on vibes.

So much of 2000s emo and pop punk illustrated how the model of masculinity and was failing everyone.

I mean at the time Laura Jane Grace wasn't out and writing lyrics like "sometimes your body takes your places you didn't really plan on going." I might as well rename the playlist "COPE HARDER STUPID TEEN!"

Like I'm sure everyone does, I long for custom visionOS Environments. By the time that happens I'll need to figure out how to replicate the interior of a 1999 Chevy Suburban with the sounds of my brothers' Game Boys in the background so I can put Television by Sandwich in the center console where my grandpa made custom straps to wedge a mini one in between the front seats.

@jsnell @HilliTech literally everything is more interesting to me than Keys (not anything against her—it’s just she is doing what we expect from a singer). Watching everyone else do their jobs in a novel filming situation is fascinating. I absolutely feel the discomfort of the people who need to be in the shot but know they’re not who most are there to see. I’m obsessed. I’ve talked my spouse to death with the implications of future performance spaces. Too bad I don’t have a podcast.

@robb @BenRiceM I checked it out on Vision Pro launch day because that’s where most of the mainstream VR community still is, and it was like stepping into a dorm room filled with 45-year-old libertarians who are either arguing with one another or jacking off to a picture of Elon Musk or attempting both at the same time
