Dull and rainy here too... although off to my son's swimming lessons which includes a deliberate long walk to and from the car park (we park miles away on the outskirts and walk into town lol. Have a good one!

What's a budget decent microphone for use in streaming/recording speech that won't break the bank and is available to order swiftly into Germany?

@sarajw I have a Røde NT-USB which works well. I used to use it for twitch streaming, but now it’s mostly used for zoom meetings lol

They do a mini version of that which is cheaper I believe.

I’m inconsolable at the moment, as it seems most of the third party apps on my iPhone 4 have stopped working or, at least, they’re not opening and I don’t know why. I mean come on …

I’m especially bummed because I can’t access my faithful app, Pocket Money, which I use to keep track of day to day expenditure. It’s so frustrating. It worked perfectly last weekend and now?

Any suggestions anyone?

@alexandra I 'think’ that there are unofficial patches that allow newer iOS versions than are officially supported. I've never tried those myself though.

@kimhu Great to hear about the moderation... although I never experienced it, I heard from others that was something Twitter struggled with.

Totally @ instances. I know a few people who have spun up their own. Sounds like loads of nerdy fun to me. And it's nice to see these little pockets of the internet popping up, instead of one large platform controlling the narrative.
