Regarding DSA compliance in App Store: I’ve read somewhere that unless your apps are your primary source of income, you are not a trader.

Can anyone confirm this? 🤔

@MuseumShuffle @podomunro I've seen that post. Last week I saw this link posted somewhere with an explanation from Booking.com how to identify as a trader:

My tip for the DSA compliance in App Store Connect ⬇️

I bought a new cheap sim card without a cellular plan, so I don’t have to use my personal phone number.

I decided to make it go straight to voicebox when calling, with a note saying you can reach me on my email address 📧

Time for the yearly "Why does my image widget not work anymore?" Have y'all found a way around this? I tried changing my code to show image thumbnails instead of the full image but no luck.

@MuseumShuffle I'm using this extension to scale the images inside the widgets. I got it working before, but the issue reoccured when I completely overhauled my widgets with the iOS 17 release.

I got it working again by tweaking the requested image sizes

@MuseumShuffle I had the width at like 800 and changed it to 200 / 100 (depending on whether multiple images are shown and how big they are shown in the widget)

I remember a couple of years or so ago there were a few apps launched that were designed to track when you contact friends and family and then remind you to do it more.

I can't for the life of me remember what they were called — Catchup came up in searches but that's relatively new. Anyone remember what they were or even better, do you make one?

@craiggrannell Hi Craig, I'm currently working on a big iOS 17 update for my app @AmatoApp which includes interactive widgets and a major overhaul in usability and design.
