I'm beyond disappointed with this community I once held close to my heart. The very community that rose united against injustices in Europe, stands silent on the atrocities in Palestine. The contrast is deafening.

When the world's eyes turned to a European conflict, the community's voice was unmissable. Now, with Palestine, the same voices are eerily silent.

The hollowness of this community's values has never been more evident. To only stand up when the victims fit a certain narrative? It’s disgraceful.

The silence is especially piercing when voices from around the world call for genocide against Arabs - a community I belong to.
