I'm investigating the best way to analyse a (Win64, C++, #ue5) minidump these days. Rider doesn't do it (barring .Net), which is a shame. WinDbg is super unfriendly and I hate it. VS works quite well, but I'd rather not rely on it - I only really use the compilers as a back-end these days so don't pay for it.

I feel like a new debug tool was discussed around here recently but I can't remember it for the life of me what it was called or whether it was suited to minidump analysis. Any tips?

Performance improvements in Safari.

1% here, 0.3% there and six months later you have a 30% boost on a mature codebase.

@aras @BartWronski @Migueldeicaza we’ve already got technical debt, so this would be technical compound interest.

Gets Free Nintendo Switch Port https://gamefromscratch.com/godot-gets-free-nintendo-switch-port/

That is quite cool.

So with Godot bindings, you can now develop for the Switch :)

@ctietze very cool! Out of curiosity, is it trivial to get Swift working on Switch? I assumed there might be runtime/etc challenges.

@Migueldeicaza @ctietze indeed - thanks! It’s unfortunate that NDA’d platforms make it harder to share the work. I believe various people have got Rust/Swift/etc working independently on consoles, but there’s not a large enough community to make it trivial, or create the tooling ecosystem to support, so momentum ends up lacking.

Drop-in cross-platform Swift support in Godot would be a significant momentum boost!
