As much as I love the idea of the @framework laptop, and as much as I want one, I just can't seem to justify it over my current Lenovo T480. Other than a faster/newer processor, I'm not sure that I'd truly get any benefit at this point in time. :sadness:

The nice thing is that they’re established. When your t480 breaks you have a reasonable option (I don’t believe the newer Lenovos have the same spirit).

I really just want it to be open source.

I also really missed the Outline feature of Logseq when using it. It’s hard to lose that.

Id really love to get my mom on Silverblue but she refuses to use Libreoffice.

Office 2023 is a little jank in WINE unfortunately 😞

She’d be such an easy candidate otherwise, she only needs office, email, and Internet and loves the Thinkpad I gave her.

That would explain why her tea is always cold. She doesn’t want to risk losing work by leaving without saving but gets stuck in Insert mode.
