What about OpenAI claiming that their Terms of Service which all ChatGPT users have to sign up to, absolves themselves of all responsibility that their tools have to generate accurate results?
And if LLM is just "spicy autocomplete" should the makers of Swiftkey be held liable for accusations it might generate when a user types out a sentence by repeatedly pressing next-word?

Andreessen's reasons for dismissing Risk #4: inequality - are laughably naive. The billionaires have built walled gardens around their proprietary technology so that customers end up renting it as a service that they get locked into and so they never become equal stakeholders in the technology. His example of Tesla is actually a good example of the inequality that technology leaders promote. Tesla has a monopoly on the repairs and spare parts for their vehicles https://finance.yahoo.com/news/tesla-faces-new-lawsuit-over-monopoly-power-in-repairs-parts-business-174255450.html
