I'm not sure I quite understand the argument against YT blocking ad blockers.

You have a service that costs a lot of money to run, you implicitly agree to the TOS when you visit YT, and if you sign up to have a YT account, then you've explicitly agreed to the TOS.

You can argue against the TOS saying that it's not what it ought to be but to complain that you're not getting a service on YOUR terms when it's not YOUR platform and you don't pay for it...that sounds like a you problem, no?
