It’s way more constrained than Skyrim.

I suppose if you really love both that kind of gameplay loop and space aesthetic (though light on space exploration per se) then maybe you’ll love it.

Woke up at three AM for baby related reasons, but stayed awake for like an hour thinking of some of the dire circumstances we are all in.

A lot of extremely precarious things are happening at the same time, domestically and globally.

January 6th as the Beer Hall Putsch, for instance.

@exchgr seeing it docked in the now aluminum Magic Keyboard it just seems silly. It LOOKS like a MacBook and solves the worst problem with MacBooks: liquid damage.

@exchgr Yeah at least some kind of backdoor bootcamp situation. Ideally it’s just an app that gets suspended in storage when you quit. They can treat it like a virtual machine but on native hardware. I’m iPad mac pilled instantly.

It does seems sweet, though I’d need to buy the $200 dang controller because I’ve been back paddle pilled hard by the deeply discounted Xbox elite controllers I got (TWO for $90 on eBay somehow)

Can’t speak to the steamdeck, but I think it does require a few sessions of dedicated attention. Well worth it. Normal controllers start to feel broken.

You can map them to any button or button sequence you want. So I just have them replacing the four face buttons.

The result is you never have to lift your right thumb from the right stick.
