And done. After the first one, I had quite a bit of yarn left, so I decided to make it a small companion.

Usually, I'm not too keen on these crochet mini figures, because they lack detail. But with this thick cord as yarn, I think the result is quite interesting.

Sherwood, here we come! The Robin Hood costume for the 7yo is now finished. Thanks to the anonymous moth that destroyed the leather boots, they were perfect material for the accessories, the quiver and arm cuffs.
Inspiration for the costume came from the Robin Hood board game that we really enjoyed playing lately. Also, the pattern from Burda was really helpful.

Went to the textile market today and spent an insane amount of money for fabrics and accessories for kiddo's Robin Hood costume. #Sewing is not yet my strong suit, but this might be easy enough for me to pull off. (I didn't want to buy a readymade costume, but it's crazy how much cheaper that would have been. 🫣)
