is not only for . This with abstract roses helped me against dark winter days. Suddenly I discovered this terrible hole and decided to mend it. It was not easy to find the fabric (more in the Alt texts) but I saved my handbag! 😊 And now it's a unique piece of individual design! @visiblemending @sewing

The back side of the patch shows that I reinforced the rose fabric with jeans fabric. The seam serging is pinned in place.
Photo of the design check. It shows the hole (made by a mouse) and the fabric patch. As the design is very wild and abstract, I tried to work on the topic "roses" and stay in the same colour shades. But the patch shows 4 very realistic, identic roses in a geometric pattern - as a contrast.
The handbag is repaired. The square fabric patch closed the hole and is visible. But its colours are the same red and green shades as on the handbag.

And I'm missing that point a bit here: how much of this do these ‘cheerleader’ types on the photo really believe and how much of it are they just faking to push their ideology to the masses?

The fantastic Norton Disney dodecahedron intrigues everyone. There are other complete examples, e.g., this one from Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt.
We still don't know what those mysterious devices were used for. Any suggestions?

It was a horrible time when the Celts invented their time changer games, and a Roman soldier forgot to close the teleportation gate. @why_not Das stimmt natürlich, dass das alles nicht neu ist (und man die ganze Zeit wegschaut).
Aber eine neue Qualität hat es insofern, dass es so geballt und ungehemmt vor Wahlen passiert, so eng vernetzt mit anderen Angriffen. Und es ist nicht mehr nur ein deutsches Problem, Angriffe aller Art auf die EU-Wahlen sind überall geplant (auf großen Plattformen schon existent) und es gibt internationale Strategieabsprachen der Ultrarechten via Putin. Sehe ich so von Frankreich aus.

On se promenait ensemble, il y avait des fêtes, des barbecues, de l'amusement pour les enfants sur l'autoroute. Comme une grande fête populaire. Tant de souvenirs (je suis née près de Karlsruhe) ! Puis le rapport du Club de Rome. C'est ainsi que nous, les enfants de l'époque, avons formé le mouvement écologiste. Et les plus âgés ont fondé le premier parti vert.

Auch in die privaten Meetingräume von Offizieren wie Ingo Gerhartz kam man herein. Auch die Bundesregierung ist betroffen: ZEIT ONLINE hing auch im persönlichen digitalen Meetingraum von Olaf Scholz ab.

A question for menders: when/how do you decide if the fabric of a much-mended garment is worn too thin to be worth mending again (and it's therefore time for deconstruction/repurposing/compost etc)?

@DMakarios In a somewhat brutal way: I carefully (!) pull the fabric in opposite directions in several places with both hands. If holes or tears form everywhere, it's not worth it.
Then I cut the Visible Mending into pieces that I use for art journals or as patches. (I don't compost because of some toxins for soil life/microplastics).
