@arch Wish my desktop would boot faster, my PC takes like 15 seconds just to boot into the BIOS and then it starts booting into the OS which takes maybe another 10 seconds.

For context, we pay for 1000Mb/s down 100Mb/s up, with 500Mb/s down guaranteed. But a few days ago download speeds completely dropped off .-.

We love ISPs!

@arch Maybe to unlock features that are virtually locked to newer models? Personally I'd do it just to be able to increase the DPI a bit. I find the UI to be slightly too large on my iPhone X, even at the lowest font size. Oh also object lift, that feature is only available on iPhone Xs and newer. I don't have the option to put subjects in front of the clock on my iPhone X's iOS 16 lock screen.

@arch I used to do the same with a dual boot between Windows 10 and Endeavour, then I got a new drive and installed Windows 11 on it for games, and never took the time to get Linux back. :(

My phone is 3 years old in a month, and while I'm very tempted to get a new iPhone 15 Pro, I really just... can't justify it. USB-C and high refresh rate screen is nice but I also realised the next iPhone will also have it so I don't feel as much pressure to upgrade?
