We're spending the day with some (straight) chosen family in from out-of-town. We're all headed to Burien Pride so the kids can run around.

Yet I'm oddly sad that I'm spending a rare Pride weekend with straights and adjusting what I would wear and how I will act to accommodate them. Not because they asked, but because it feels like the right thing to do as I'm prioritizing them over me. I hate this self-sensoring around 100% supportive and loving chosen straight family.

Had an unexpectedly busy afternoon helping friends move after their movers bailed at the last minute. Super glad I only went for a run this morning instead of my upper body workout because I got one after all!
