Ich glaube/hoffe dass die Umfragen gerade eher durch Protest so aussehen und die Leute, die sagen sie würden die AfD wählen es dann doch nicht tun würden. Am Ende rettet uns doch noch die Wagenknecht Partei sollte die mal an den Start gehen und entzweit die das AfD Lager.

Aber das ist leider alles nur Hoffnung. Am besten wäre es natürlich wenn die Ampel und die Politik im allgemeinen mal ehrlicher und offener werden würde und sich mal wirklich mit den Problemen auseinandersetzt.

Bitte nicht vergessen dass sie die Führungskräfte heimlich 14% Gehaltserhöhung gegeben haben. Direkt ohne irgendwelche Staffelungen. Und das ganze wurde nur dank einem Whistleblower publik.

Hm just fanboyism 😅 It’s still not as popular as Unity or Unreal but slowly it’s getting traction. So it’s quite exciting to see Godot games being successful.

Ich hatte das auch gemeldet. Ich hatte vermutet, das c/dach nur deutsch erlaubt als language und die App vllt default English oder undetermined verwendet zum posten.

Godot support for Rider is not that new but sadly there is not that much steam behind the development. Maybe that will change now, once enough people get it for Godot :P

Don't use the lemmy.ml community. !godot is the place to be. It's a bit more active. We wanted to promote it in r/godot but the mods didn't answer our request. We should bring it on the godot community site.

Why would Apple do that? One of their biggest pros is that they have powerful machines, that are capable of more than an off the shelf PC Laptop. They even produce their own chips now. Why would anybody pay 4000+ $ for something that is essentially a thin client that just connects a display and some peripherals to a cloud?

In addition it would be very hard to convince their tech savvy consumers that a move to a cloud hosted OS would benefit privacy, which has become a bigger selling point over the recent years for them?

That sounds like a very dumb move for the consumer market. Who would be the target audience for this? Gamers would hate that because of increased input lack. My mom wouldn't understand that she her PC wouldn't work without internet.

The only client for something like this would be enterprises so that they can buy cheap thin clients and have more control over compliance things.

I saw some very big instances on fedidb yesterday. I looked at a few.... Completely empty instances, no communities, no posts, but 24k users.

I'm pretty sure those are all bot/spam accounts. So the numbers right now are very inflated imho.

Hah! The idea of an simulated social network sounds weirdly interesting. An idea that just pops into my head would be a (mystery) game based on a lemmy instance, where bots progress the story line and people can participate by finding clues in communities of the instance and triggering the next phase of the story by commenting in the right spots. 🤔
