À ma compréhension, la taxe de 50% sur la 2e propriété serait une taxe lors de l’achat et la vente d’une seconde propriété, et une 3e et + propriété serait taxé à 100%, i.e. tu paies le double, et la portion taxée serait pour financier nos services publics et sociaux ainsi qu’aider les gens à s’acheter leur première propriété.

A tornado came down on NDG in 2017 (?), destroyed a lot of trees and damaged a lot of infrastructure, structures and cars.

Péché Matinal in Longueuil is my go-to. There’s always a line up, so plan accordingly!

Their “Poutine Déj” is excellent, and served in a cast iron skillet so it stays warm the whole meal.

It’s slightly off the island unfortunately, but you can easily get there by metroing to the Longueuil - Université de Sherbrooke station and walking there.

Eggspectation on De Maisonneuve would be my second go-to.

I like having it there on the outside as it’s not on the transparent part of the glass, and thus does not obstruct my view or my dashcam.

Nope, instructions are very specific, it needs to go on the outside of the glass.

TIL that you can't respond on a comment tree if the top-level comment has set a language unless you set the same language

If you don’t choose the same language as the top-level comment you cannot answer in the same tree. The wheel will just keep spinning but when you look at the API request you see that it returns something like “bad language” and upon choosing the right language you can comment again!

My friends and I are struggling on whether we should get the paseport Montreal. Mainly our questions are around the Botanical gardens/biodome. In the passport program they are 2 separate tickets but then checking the website it looks like buying one ticket gets you into both? Unless I’m reading it wrong. Also, the main reason...

The botanical garden / biodome / insectarium is absolutely worth it IMO. First I’ve heard of Passeport Montréal though!
