I am sometimes uncertain as to whether my opinions on books should be trusted. I adored the first Percy Jackson book series. I couldn't stand Heroes of Olympus. I could not get into the world at all. These are two series of books, set in the same world. With overlapping characters.

Same with Tolkien. I can sit down and read The Hobbit any day of the week, but I've never read further than the Ents in Lord of the Rings. Again, same author, mostly the same world, loved the one, just can't get into the other.

Maybe I'm just strange.

@ChiralTheAlien the ents are in The Two Towers, right? pretty common to end up dropping the series somewhere in there, it slows down a fair bit

*I don't know if this is true I just know that 5 years ago the silly 16-video-out 16GB Matrox GPU did OpenGL, and only OpenGL
