I've finally got around to getting a router with the intention of installing OpenWRT instead of relying on the ISP's one. Hope I don't brick it!

@simontatham @jugglerchris in my personal experience it helped to not use Ubuntu and essential not LTS, as the kernel and the librarys are most of the time outdated as they prefer "stable" over functional. So I switched to because it's more recent as it's based on arch Linux. And I never regreted it ever since. Except for the fact that I liked apt, but on the other side it's just a package manager
