Using in a Corporate Laptop for work

https://kzimmermann.0x.no/articles/linux_work_laptop.html

Longish post that I've been meaning to post for a few weeks now. I tried to run only for work for a month and the result was amazing. Here's a few tips on how I did it in case you want to try it too.

Needless to say, I have zero intentions on going back. Long live Free Software: Liberate your Hardware today!

I am exhausted but immensely grateful and glad I had the opportunity to host my fediverse workshop with three classes of young and bright teenagers!

What do you think about my project ?

https://codeberg.org/hut/panban

It's a board for all kinds of data backends (hence the "pan").

Looks a bit like , but for multi-column todo lists.

You can currently use it for TODO entries, lists, files, and a read-only view on GitHub issues.

It's great in combo with [https://tasks.org].

Been using it a lot over the last 5 years, tho it's still experimental. Thinking of rewriting in .

Sure.
I usually use my @libreoffice Calc spreadsheet https://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/aamfp

And also the tool I made with some friends: http://kanbanone.com we evem have five paying users!

And I'm actually even experimenting with paper: https://marcoxbresciani.codeberg.page/kaizen/kanban-journal.html

But mostly the spreadsheet.

This applies to the states of the 🇪🇺 and many other countries as well. But the bigger problem is: Nobody seems to care. Many times people just shrug and say that we can't change that anyway. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

To me it's the same situation as with the 🌡️ . You can make the change. Switch to such as a :linux: / system, support projects through contribution and donation, and never trust the cloud (other people's computers).
