karthink, 12 days ago @sqrtminusone Vim, meaning energetic or lively, is a common word in old English, and still used like in the phrase "with vim and vigor". This is probably what the search hits for Vim are from.

karthink, 21 days ago @credmp @abcdw You don't need magit for this. Emacs does this out of the box with the command vc-region-history (C-x v h). See also vc-print-log (C-x v l) and vc-annotate (C-x v g).

karthink, 1 month ago @ctietze It works well with embark-keymap-prompter-key set to something immediate like ' (apostrophe). Type ' and the keybinding to invoke the command directly from the keymap prompter, combining the advantages of completing-read and which-key.

karthink, 1 month ago @oantolin @ctietze Yeah, ' is rarely used in command names or descriptions so it works great. This is true of buffer/file names/symbols as well, so I also bind it to vertico-quick-exit and corfu-quick-jump.
