I liked Beyond the Sea but thought Aaron Paul detracted from a decent story. He wasn’t bad, but he does suffer from playing Aaron Paul in most things. Would have been a better little scifi short with no names in the two major roles. I mean Joan is Awful was right there. He could have been the ex boyfriend and himself.
After 30 there aren’t many mysteries about yourself so it feels huge to have this new thing you’re excited about just shrugged at. Mine were like that too but they were less accepting. Did you find a way to celebrate the knowing(tm)?
As some subreddits continue blackouts to protest Reddit's plans to charge high prices for its API, Reddit has informed the moderators of those subreddits that it has plans to replace resistant moderation teams to keep spaces "open and accessible to users."
The least they could do is make it less obvious who they will replace the mods with. I expect this kind of blatant takeover attitude from a place with less legal department. Like twitter.
