i'm so unbelievably pissed off that a petty discord drama over two people getting banned killed the only major non-fandom-wikia farm out there. and it wasn't even financially unstable, they were fully funded.
I know most of the Bethesda RPGs have massive mod support, and there's games like Minecraft that have more mods than anyone can imagine. I would consider those games pretty playable in their vanilla states. Would you say there are any games that were "saved" by modding? Or that are still kept alive by thriving modding...
Just from a percentage standpoint, the Frackin Universe modpack adds so much to the Starbound experience which is otherwise relatively simple and something you only really play through once. There's like two or three extra Starbounds' worth of content, although that can make it overwhelming when starting out
I often think about stellar albums. The ones where they're really isn't a skip-able track. Off the top of my head, these come to mind: The Beach Boys Pet Sounds, Collective Soul Collective Soul (blue album), Bush 16 Stone, and Green Day Dookie. What are some of your perfect albums?
it's very much borrowed from one of the reddit subs i frequent(ed) often, but the idea is to share what we're playing weekly and hopefully create discussions around those games (or simply have a sort of "check-in").

I must confess to getting a little sick of seeing the endless stream of articles about this (along with the season finale of Succession and the debt ceiling), but what do you folks think? Is this something we should all be worrying about, or is it overblown?...
The apocalypse will never be "skynet launches all the nukes". It'll be "skynet-AI has predicted with 85% certainty that china has launched all of their nukes".
Miraheze (a free wiki farm) is shutting down (meta.miraheze.org)

Tell us about unpopular games you love, or even just appreciate some aspects of, contrary to the inteenet hivemind?
And what specifically makes it special, appealing, or interesting to you?
what are you playing this week?

Is the whole AI apocalypse thing overblown or not?
