Did a little conversion on a chaos sorcerer to use as a coach for the renegade team. This one comes with a bunch of little guys that are very handy as reroll tokens 😁

Got me some striking paints for the new team. Thinking about checkers. Not sure I can pull those off in cool way with contrast paints. Will probably try anyway. Happy with the pink and green. The pink needs thinning tho.

So I figured out I need a troll for the starting roster for financial reasons. Couldn’t cope with another plastic BB one after the black orcs and didn’t want another FW model. Decided to go with the fellwater trolls. Thought that would be easier to convert to a BB looking model. Cut up four of the arms to get in looking like this. Shortened the neck. Also had to copy some armor plates of the other big guys because I didn’t have any good bits.

Everybody knows that Bloodbowl big guys need their gear secured with leather strips. Easiest way I could imagine was to simply glue on some thin crafting foam. Feels complete now.

Troll is done. Quite a challenge to create contrast between skin, green armor and vomit.

I dread big skin parts because there always that big area that is just plain and flat. Actually good fun to mess around until it looks somewhat interesting.

It’s been a while but I’m back on it. Looking to finish the Renegades team for the next season of my local league.
Orc and Ogre are very close to done. Only the Mino left to do. Fingers crossed for the new Skaven to have a nice rat ogre that I can use because the official ones are meh.

Mobile painting station is very nice for traveling btw.

Checkers on the Mino’s pad where a real topological challenge. Happy that I kept him for the end as all the practice from the other players now came in very handy. 🏁

Done! That’s the last one for the team until I find a nice rat ogre model I like. But don’t have to hurry as I got what I need to start the league proper.

Will do a last error fixing and icing pass on the whole team when I have them all in front of me.

As a refresher between projects I knocked out this silly little idea. And it's proven more popular than any of my other projects every time I've shared it, now it's Mastodon's turn.
