OK, so Sam Kerr, superstar footballer and Aboriginal Australian badass lesbian heroine, was charged in the UK with “racially aggravated harassment of a police officer”, which had everyone scratching their heads concerned for a few days

Then it came out that all she did (for better or worse) was call a cop a “stupid white bastard”, which is of course a completely regular and good thing to call a cop, and now she is even more beloved in Australia and beyond

i doubt condemnining hamas means supporting the other state more than condemning genocide makes one a religious fundamentalist of the genocided community. libs just have to reinforce monopoly on violence whenever they can. no sober comentator thinks attacks of hamas are actualy good strategy or more aimed than bombings of the israeli state. palestinian people are the victims here, but lets not deceive ourselves by turning this into a good versus evil conflict. this is a war between two states (one not recognised) over legitimacy in killing people in a given area. They just want to kill different peoples, and Israeli state acually largely suceeds.

There are two huge murder machines that are beyond human scale for both of us. One is even bigger than the other one. They are chewing up human bodies and you are angry. You just want this to stop but you are absolutely powerless, so am i. pretending there is some evil to be cleansed there is the easy way out to get a good night's sleep. unless you are there and unless you will live yesterday there with whichever fascist side comes bloody at top. probably the bigger one.

All ideologies are engagements. They all imply a certain type of action. The difference of anarchism is that it doesn't hide behind a facade of a correct image of the world to make its adherent do the engagement. It is just an engagement. We don't sell the idea that you're special and you should act accordingly, so that you actions will make you seem special to you uwittingly and create your own ideological bubble of "reality". We say nobody knows better but they pretend they do, so knock them down. All ideologues pretend to discuss facts while they ascribe(prescribe) a particular action onto others for their self aggrandisement. We ascribe (not to say prescribe) a particular action on the premise that ideologues exist. Anarchism is "burden of proof" rationality, insofar as it is an "ideology". But it is better to understand it as an historical movement maybe of anti-ideology. Not "post" ideology, tho. İdeology is a material structure and is an objective limit. You fight against it, you don't "deconstruct" it.

always be weary of phiilosophy or thinking that talks about violence solely from the perspective in which you are a potential perpetrator and there is a choice to be made. and not already subject to violence.

i am actually opposed to the categorisation of "heavy music" and metal and punk as its subcategories. leave aside the problem of superficiality and need to leave aside all subtleties of the sounds of the musicians within those genres. my bone to pick is quality of the definition. There is clearly a single vein that is source to both streams. You can hear it from all the participants and in crossing overs and in mid-ways. You can listen to "War Pigs" of Sabbath and then listen to "Know Your Rights" of Clash. It is more interesting to look at all these as variations of blues than two different things. On the other hand, look at Five Finger Death Punch or look at ZZ Top. Or on the myriad of pop punk bands without a visible ethos. Or at GG Allin. These have superficial trappings of the vein, but no underlying musical or artistic structure or purpose. Or look at the Metallica. Is this the same band that wrote "Disposable Heroes" and the zombie kicking around these days? The problem isn't with the sound. Heavy music is largely a watered down version of a tradition that helps bury it.

Ultimately, fascists are correct about one thing. A global liberal order is as much a fantasy as a globe trodding reich. Humans existence at the planatary scale depens on if we can suprass extractivist capitalism and all the comorbid hierarchies that feed into it.

i am not a marxist leninist because i dont want to do a bourgeoise revolution. the idea that history progressed between feodalism and capitalism is ridiculous. our enemies have progressed and we are weaker because of it. life expectancy is not a measure of potency. neither is court history. modern history, from the political side of things, is purely negative. All the neat stuff we got in the process is accidental, including the worker's movement.

it is not science as it is the experimental rational theory of things. It is science as in, it is a reflective appreciation of what science supposedly achieved with regards to nature and society and what more it can "achieve". This is a necessarily class collaborationist perspective. Motor of history can be designated proleteriat, the fact that history is "motor" powered and that it carries all of us at once, is a class treacherous perspective. There is nothing progressive about proles fighting for crumbs against the ruling classes, bourgeoisie stalls for time and power creep carries just them forward. We are still fighting for scraps and people just now realise this, we are not "progressing" no matter what, without any and all ruling classes getting completely abolished at once. History doesnt move by jumps, there are jumps and there is a single catastrophe in which we live, far away from the revolution no matter how red our flag is.
