I hate to use the Fedi for so much geekposting, but I know I will get a good answer here: Anybody have opinions on Pomona vs 3M SOIC chip clips for accessing soldered components? There is an SPI flash chip on a board that has a leg shape that's a bit hard for the Pomona to grab onto and I'm wondering if my clip has gone off, or if the premium of the 3M is worth it.
