@konstantin other than crash fixes not really 😅 Most annoying is that left side with list of windows which breaks swipe back in some apps and is buggy to use. But if you don’t use that part and remember in which apps to not try to swipe back it’s pretty ok. I prefer how app resizing and placement works in this mode.

@konstantin and thanks to your question I just got an idea that I can use shortcuts to automatically enable/disable stage manager when opening specific apps. That solves one of my annoyances with it 😀

Accidentally made a funny visual bug in app and now I am wondering whether I should turn it into intended behavior.

Cool trick I learned for UI tests in Xcode. You can set "TZ" launch environment value to force the app to use provided time zone. Useful when testing layout that displays formatted dates.

0.22 of for Mastodon and Fediverse on is out with autocompletion suggestions and hashtag timelines.
Type in # or @ characters and suggestions will start appearing as you type. Tap on hashtags in posts to open separate screen with posts that included this hashtag. From there you can also follow/unfollow hashtags.

Almost ready with next update. Added featured tags to user profiles. You can tap on them to view all posts from that user with selected hashtag.

Some progress on next update. Added a way to view hashtag timelines with follow/unfollow action.

Video of Pipilo application where I view posts with hashtag, then navigate to . Video displays how navigation between posts work with horizontal swipes like in rest of the app. It also displays that there are actions to follow/unfollow hashtag or view timeline in browser.

Some feedback on your great app

  1. Privacy policy mentions Twitter instead of Mastodon
  2. The whole app is a very restful way to scroll through the timeline.
    “Check for new posts” is not restful.
    An alternative could be “You’re all up to date!” + “Last checked 2 mins ago. Recheck?” Underneath.
  3. The pull up menu is quite large in its resting state. Would it also work at half the height?
    This would fit more photos on the screen.

  1. Oops I forgot to check here. The app started as client for Twitter only so there might be few more missing naming changes like this :)
  2. I like that idea but there probably won’t be room for that text anymore. I want to add account switching and option to submit new posts to that bar in future. I’m thinking about displaying only numbers then. We’ll see.
  3. I don’t understand this one, sorry. You mean to reduce height of menu when collapsed?
