Finished up my little project to capture the Sunflower Galaxy (M63), mainly because I'm not getting clear skies again for a while.

Just under 14 hours total effective imaging time from my apartment (Bortle 6/7).

Took over 11 hours of telescope time, but it's legitimately my best yet.

Did an überstack of all of the M81 data I have from the past several weeks. It worked out pretty well! So much cleaner.

FINALLY got some clear skies!

Captured images of M81 and M82. Only got about 2 hours on target before some clouds moved in, but I'm pretty happy with the results.

Finally got around to processing narrowband data from a few days ago of IC 1848 (Soul Nebula).

It's in Hubble palette, but for reasons I don't yet know/understand, the Ha (green) data had much better SNR than the other two bands. OII (blue) was okay, but SII (red) was practically non-existent, hence the mostly blue-green hue.

First pass at processing the images of M42 (Orion Nebula) from last night. I didn't manually exclude the images occluded from clouds because I wanted to see how PixInsight would handle it.

I think it might work better without them though, but I'm still pretty happy with the results, considering I didn't think I'd get anything last night.

It's crazy how bright M42 is. I could see some details with just a single 10 second exposure.
