Wir haben als ähnliche Übung den “8er” (Aufschläger spielt immer diagonal rechts/links wechselnd, Rückspieler immer longline rechts/links wechselnd) in ein paar Varianten.
Außerdem Aufschläger mit Unterschnitt (immer gleiche Seite, später dann immer andere Seite), der Rückspieler mit Topspin, dann Blocken und Angriff bis Abschluß. Keine Ahnung, ob so etwas Triviales schon als Übung zählt :)

Ich selbst spiele ja meistens Indoor und wenn outdoor, dann nur mit dezidiertem Outdoor-Schläger. Und Ihr?
Wir hatten vor (sehr) vielen Jahren eine feine “Outdoor”-Platte auf dem dörflichen Spielplatz. Dort spielten meine Freunde und ich sehr oft, da es im Freien einfach Spaß machte. Vor allem genossen wir den Einfluss des Windes (Gegenwindschlag der vollständig zurückkehrt), unmöglich hohe Balonschläge, aber auch die viel zu hohe Betonplatte mit ihrem Metallnetz (“Bong!”). Alles sehr einzigartig 😆
Mittlerweile habe ich schon viele Jahre nicht mehr Outdoor gespielt, außer ab und an auf der Hobbyplatte im Garten. Aber wenn, spielte ich immer mit meinem bestem (damals einzigem) Schläger.

I have about 10 Portable 2.5" HDD's I somehow built up over the years, plus an additional 10 2.5" HDD's laying around that aren't in enclosures at the moment. I'm tossing up between wiping them all and disposing of them, and buying an enclosure to use them in a NAS. 7 of them are reasonable at between 2TB and 4TB capacity. It's just, they're so fucking slow. Is it really worth it to keep using HDD's in this day and age, or should I accept that their time has come and throw them out? I think I will just be dissapointed and annoyed with how slow they are if I keep them around and use them for hosting media on a plex server - But I haven't tested them out for that so I'm not sure.
I'm leaning towards wiping and getting rid of them. Any suggestions for a use I might find for them? Are you still using a HDD? Why? What do you use it for? I feel like the time it takes for shit to load on them isn't worth it and it just detracts to heavily from whatever I'm doing on a computer.
In my eyes it all depends upon if the HDDs are too slow for all your purposes. For the external drives USB3 helps a lot.
I use spinning / older HDDs for this purposes:
file-server / NAS in the TB range
backup of data in the TB range
long time data archiving
for work flows that write GBs of data (like video-processing)
Smart TV recording
in classic hardware (Amiga, old PCs), where speed does not matter
in classic UNIX machines, cause the SCSI discs run forever
in little bit more modern DELL servers, cause the SAS discs run forever
In summary: I use SSDs mostly for booting PCs, or if speed really matters, but when it comes to massive writing, reliability, or simply does not matter, I use HDDs.
Ah I get it, thanks for explaining. And sorry for my misunderstanding. I have thought the mods of /r/startrek have created kind of "official substitute" on Lemmy.
