@otfrom It's hard retraining your brain to describe every image you upload when you've spent the last 20+ years on the internet with little tools to do so up until recently. I don't think it has to do with anyone's political standings.. at least from my experience. It took me a while to make it a habit.

I remember my grandmother (creole) telling me the story of how she had to pretend to be white to get into nursing school back in 1940s. Later took all her skills and utilized them at clinics and hospitals black patients were taken in at.
