We’re back in Berlin! Had a nice evening in Greifswald yesterday. The night brought a thunderstorm, with rain that sounded pretty impressive on the boat’s roof.

We picked up some light crime novels in a little free library, and headed for the station.
The train home was pretty full, but we found space.

First, thanks for the upgrade to Tuxedo OS 3, you are doing a great job as always.❤️

Could you perhaps do a tutorial on Plasma 6 and HDR? After updating to Tuxedo OS3, I was initially puzzled as to where the HDR function was until I swapped my DP cable for HDMI. Then the option was there. But I still don't understand the options. When activated, is HDR always on and what does that mean? Do e.g. Steam, Lutris or VLC use HDR for games and movies automatically?

That would be great! I have tried a few things but the only thing that has worked so far is that I was able to check the HDR box in the monitor settings 😅. For everything else, I don't even know if it worked. So I think it didn't work...

    Ich werde mich mal an eBlocker versuchen und schauen, was das im Netzwerk so bringt.

    Also eine Raspi 4 bestellt und ich drucke schon mal ein Gehäuse. Das habe ich mir mal bei Printables rausgesucht. Selber machen lohnt sich nicht bei der riesigen Auswahl an Designs.

    Eine Sache checke ich bei diesen Konservativen nicht, die bei jeder Gelegenheit dem Primat des 'Marktes' huldigen. Wenn man schon als vermeintliches Argument für eine Investitions- 'Schieflage' über die pro Kopf Kosten der Impfung spricht, dann preist man doch gefälligst die Opportunitätskosten, die einem bei einem durch Unterlassung von Impfung potentiell toten Kind als Lifetime-Wertschöpfung entgangen sind, ein? Sowohl individuell als auch auf makroökonomischer Ebene... 🤨

    Du musst einfach nur nen größeren Kult um dein tägliches Tun machen. Die Royals haben das auch nicht von jetzt auf gleich bei ihren Untertanen eingeschliffen. Denk dran, du verrichtest keine Lohnarbeit, du kreierst Erfahrungen für deinen Arbeitgeber. Du vollführst keine Arbeitsschritte sondern zelebrierst wichtige Rituale. Du erledigst keine Aufgaben, du erfüllst Träume. Wenn du dein Umfeld soweit hast, dass sie die Basics glauben, geht's zur nächsten Stufe des Plans 😉

    Today marks the beginning of Ramadan for Muslims. Our Muslim friends have had a rough go in America because of Xenophobia. So please give them some love.

    I spent time learning more about their journey by meeting with some folks at a Mosque in our neighborhood. I brought them oranges and told them they had a friend.

    It's totally okay if you educate people about Ramadan and promote understanding. But maybe you should use a different image. I was just on the Islamify account on Instagram (where the picture comes from) and then had a look at the linked Telegram channel. It's full of anti-Israeli misinformation. There's no question of it being accidental, it's systematic on this channel.
