Make yourself offline and close the chat window. From settings, disable Sign in to friends when Steam Client starts. "You should be offline next time. Though the chat window will still appear even if you're offline, it's like that since the last update.

I feel like it's more buggy on Linux right now. When I switch workspaces the whole Steam window goes dark unless it's on library, so I started to do almost everything on the browser. Also, HW acceleration has a memory leak for me, it's starting to use my all GPU memory after some time and the fix for that is restarting Steam. Could be Nvidia's fault but still.

They should've used their own codebase, not Chromium or Electron. But here we are.

Is there a daily post limit, I'm asking because I was carrying my posts over here from Reddit and create a post page stuck at loading when I want to add a new one. Or perhaps could this be related to Lemmy 0.18? Also some of my comments can't be seen if they're outside of this instance, only I can (and possibly this instance) see them. Could you check these?

What's your opinion about Manjaro? (lemmy.world)

I've seen a lot of people who quite dislike Manjaro, and I'm not really sure why. I'm myself am not a Manjaro user, but I did use it for quite a while and enjoyed my experienced, as it felt almost ready out of the box. I'm not here to judge, just wanted to hear the opinion of the community on the matter. Thanks!

I used Manjaro for 7 years (until 2020) and I can say it's not that bad. However if you're gonna use AUR that's a big NO. Without using AUR it should be stable though they did screw things up, like big Nvidia purge, and when they become more frequent I bailed out. Using EndeavourOS for quite some time and couldn't be more happy. (I'm lazy to install Arch so Endeavour does its job perfectly.)

That was literally my first day experience with new Steam client. :)

I enabled hardware acceleration and it ended up using all of the GPU memory in a relatively short time.

Açıkcası zaten Reddit genel olarak Türkiye içinde çok yaygın bir platform değildi ve @Alpagu 'nun da bahsettiği üzere Reddit'teki topluluk üyeleri oldukça kalitesiz. Dolayısıyla reklamın Reddit'te değil de öncelikle kendi çevremizde yapılması gerektiğini düşünüyorum. Zaten topluluk yeteri kadar büyüdüğünde ister istemez her türden insan dolacaktır, sadece sesleri fazla çıkamasın yeter düşüncesindeyim.
