Statt Vermögenssteuer und hohen Steuersätzen sollte man den Superreichen einfach einen Deal anbieten: Investiere Milliarden in D und erhalte ein paar % Steuerrabatt. Darum geht es doch. Und diese Leute könne nachweislich mit Geld besser umgehen (aus unternehmerischer SIcht) als der Staat. Und wenns Business läuft, gibts steuerpflichtige Jobs und wir alle profitieren. Aber "Recihen wegnehmen" ist so eine vulgäre Gewaltphantasie der "Antikapitalisten"…

Heute wieder in sonem Restaurant gewesen, wo sich am Ende rausstellte “Kein Bargeld, nur Karte, steht doch an der Türe!1” und wenig später “nee AMEX nehmen wir nicht”. Wasn Kindergarten. Wie kann man bitte so bräsig sein? Sind sind so Leute einfach nur unterreflektiert oder bewusst hässig? Junge Junge…

@zeri Ist eine Positivregel ohne Rekursmöglichkeit. Hab das ein- oder andere mal schon mit Gastronomen darüber diskutiert. Das hat dann zumindest die “dumm, unempathisch oder hässig frage geklärt: “alles drei”
Bin gespannt, wann sich hier die ersten Küchenjura-Schlaubis drunter stapeln :-)
Das Thema war schon damals auf Twixer sehr saugfähiges Lackmuspapier für Blocklistenpflege.

@wonka @CKL In dem Fall hätte ich eiskalt gesagt: "Sorry card only. I don't make the rules" ¯_(ツ)_/¯ muss weh tun, sowas.

Das Problem ist leider, dass Leute die sowas abziehen, die Sorte von Leuten sind, die sich gern das Leben auf andere Leute Kosten bequem machen, das oft nicht über den eigenen Horizont hinaus zuende denken, und dann ganz schnell sauer sind, wenn andere Leute anfangen sie bei ihrem Wort zu nehmen.

@ron Bei der Erwähnung von "EC-Karte" bekomm ich echt immer Puls. 2007 wurde die "EC-Karte" eingestellt. das sind bald zwanzig Jahre. Das wird noch lustig, wenn Mastercard das "EC"-Logo aus der Versenkung holt - an dem sie die alleinigen Rechte haben (weiss wieder keiner) - und auf Kreditkarten druckt 🤡

TIL that mustard plants grow very tall and have purple flowers that bees really like. I planted them because they're a great "grow literally anywhere" plant you can just yeet into the ground and leave to do their thing, and they're great at weed suppression and outcompeting grasses, but I didn't know they'd end up looking nice and making the bees happy too.

... now I'm in the mood to do some guerilla gardening.

Habe ich Allergiker unter meinen Followern? Welchen Luftreiniger könnt ihr so empfehlen? Darf gerne kompatibel mit Home Assistant sein.

Mir wurde 2021 was mit Roggen und Gräsern diagnostiziert, was sich mittlerweile komplett zu Gräsern, Roggen und Hausstaub ausgeprägt hat. Da erstmal Coronamasken angesagt war, und das letzte Jahr regnerischer war als normal fickt mich das heute so richtig. Bin bei der 4. Packung Taschentücher, und Vividrin ist auch schon drin, aber geil ist das nicht.

@moreentropy @ttk Der IoT-Quatsch von Philips ist die Pest. Third-party-support für das spezifische Modell vor dem Kauf raussuchen und hoffen. Von haus aus kommt das mit einer app die auch nicht von philips direkt ist, dafür 99ct pro Jahr in-app purchase haben möchte, um die Werbung auszuschalten. Setup geht afaik nur mit deren App. Was anderes als /24? App-Telefon zum Einrichten nicht im selben vlan/essid? Pech! Richtig unterstes Ende, das alles. Die Geräte selber sind klasse.

Found the making-of of the trophy. Less precise/sophisticated than I would have thought.
