Hello, people!

I know that, among us, there is people who like to do some physical movement, training or workout. So the question is: do you listen to music while training?

So, for this , let's choose 5 songs that you listen to usually for your training or workouts. Or if you don't train, 5 songs that you would listen to if you would train. :-)

Sweat with

Mine in the next toot.

@neurothing Physical movement... yeah, that's not me! Have to pass this week ๐Ÿฆฅ

@sariash but let's imagine that you are doing it: which songs would you choose? ๐Ÿ™‚

Oook, for @miona 's , a soaring techno track from Street Fighter IV .

I really love its uplifting mood, a perfect soundtrack for a fight scene on a skyscraper's roof.

Hello, people!

For this , hosted by @Kitty , I have something that may captivate your interest.

We alread have an Egypt-themed death metal band but... what about a Maya-Inca-Aztec one?

So, we have Tzompantli, a death doom band from California, with their menacing sound.

This is my entry for this @loewe 's today .

A track from Anna Von Hausswolff, bringing a haunting sense of sacrality.

For @DXMacGuffin 's , here a track from Danish/Faroese band Tyr.

It's possible to combine viking metal and progressive? Well, they did it nicely.

Hello, people!

For this we have a prompt from @HeatherInNZ , a .

I have a 38 minute one, indeed.

Hello, people!

Monday equals hosted by @HailsandAles . Or, at least this is for me. ๐Ÿ˜Š

So, throw in a classic from Keep Of Kalessin's first album. A well-played black metal with melodic touches here and there.

As a writing exercise, I went to Unsplash and asked for a random image. I usually do this, it's useful.

I didn't do the statistical calculus for how much is likely to get a certain picture, but hey, I got an image of a MAGA cap.

Following Spider Jerusalem's teachings, the text I wrote for this was repeating "FUCK!" 8000 times.

Here I am for , hosted by @vanessawynn !

Something by Cattle Decapitation, with their feral death/grind, will do the job.

And for @derthomas 's , a "little" jewel by Sabbat, from which ashes Skyclad were born.

The album cover would make you think about some sort of epic metal band. Don't be fooled: they are (were) thrash down to the marrow.

It's to be noted that there is another Japanese metal band called Sabbat (unsurprisingly, I would say). These are from UK instead.

Hello, people!

An album opener is, most of the time, the forerunner that will make you decide to go further with the listening of an album or not.

So, for this we'll explore this.

Tell me: what are your favorite five first songs from albums? Specify also the album where it's from.

So, let's start with

Mine in the next toot.

For @loewe 's , something from the Slovakian electro/ambient musician Keosz collaborating with Robocat, an Ukrainian underground electropop singer.

Soft, dark and haunting.

Is using the adjective "disturbing" for defining a horror work still a thing?

MargaretSefton,
@MargaretSefton@writing.exchange avatar

@neurothing Disturbing is good, though, in a horror. I have listened to a lot of creepypastas recently via Dr. Creepen on youtube.

@MargaretSefton Let's say that, after detoxing a bit, my relationship with this word is vastly improved ^^

Hello, people!

This is by @Kitty , and I want to share a new single (an eight minutes one) from Ulcerate.

Oh, I'm really excited! Can't wait to listen to what will be the full length. The premises are really good!

Oooh, this is a jump in my adolescence and 20s, with @satsuma that asked us to show .

Well, since I left my room in my parent's house years ago, I didn't retrieved my CD collection yet. Neither I bought a decent stereo to play them.

So, as suggested by @Kitty , I will just post the album cover.

I love Edge Of Sanity's "Crimson II" cover. It really caught my eye when I saw it on the music shop shelf before buying it, with it's retro style and vivid colours.

@neurothing Thank you for posting this! I decided to give it a listen, and I've found something new that I already would have liked! Fits right in.
