I hosted a politics podcast with Matt Cooper called The Game Is Rigged from 2017-2018. I've produced and acted in the Worm full-cast Audiobook project. I host a weekly show called Thoughtfood on Venom.FM from 12 to 3 PM PST on Sundays. I also sing and play drums. I'm even a snappy dresser--though this is disputed!

So I've been practicing a bit with my Mortal Kombat 1 character and I'm thinking I'm good enough to go online. I go through all the options. What seems like the least commitment? I try versus. Pick my character, get connected with someone.

Before we've even started the match properly:

"Hey, can you hear me? Well. I wanted you to know, you're a black, homosexual, gay, nigger." End of match.

Kid couldn't have been more than 12 years old.

@superblindman Hey just wanted to say thanks for the Forza tutorial videos! They are super helpful at breaking down how this game works as someone who is pretty dumb about racing games. Also! FYI. It's not supported, but you can use a PS5 Dualsense controller to play this game, you just have to use something like DSX or DS4 (my preference, as it's more accessible) to emulate it as an Xbox 360 controller. Same with Gears 5 and most other games.

@protonmail Hi, welcome to the fediverse! Are there any plans to add accessibility to the proton bridge application for use with third-party email clients like Thunderbird? In its current state, my screenreading software is unable to read the password I need to sign into the client. Should not take super long to fix this! It's been like this for years so I would really appreciate a fix! Right now I need tech support to read the screen for me which they don't like to do and is a privacy risk.

To my concert taper friends out there: how would someone go about capturing an IEM feed? My understanding is you need a wireless receiver of some kind, but I do not know the specifics around what capabilities to look for when purchasing an appropriate product, or which would provide ease of use for me as a blind person. Searching the internet, amazingly, has not panned out! Does anyone have a recommendation?
