I think I really agree with Evie Lupine's take in her latest video that we do damage when everybody lists the same limits at the bottom of their Fetlife profiles.

Like, I definitely remember the eye opening experience of realizing "oh wait, piss play being everybody's hard limit is basically just a straight thing".

If a straight man is only around men or a straight woman is only around women, that doesn't make their sex drives magically disappear. It just means they're not specifically attracted to any of the people around them.
