Life gone to the dogs in SE MI. The more time passes the more emphasis and time I shift to pet rescue. The irony is not lost on me.

A not so gracefully aging boomer with dogs. In a former life a skilled tradesperson and a closet geek all over Michigan, currently Metro Detroit. Pipe wrenches and Linux, with a bit of FOSS thrown in. What could go wrong? Still working at my former life but it's winding down, getting ready for the next adventure.

One of whatever I can't count!
Lots of firsts for Trevor this week, to many for one post! Trevor plays with toys, takes treats from a hand, fits into the pack. Big shout out to Lady Winifred who decided he was the son she never had and protects him! Big steps all around!

Meet Trevor, a 5yo puppymill survivor. It's his 3rd day of freedom, he loves to lay outside in the sun on the grass. He still does spend most of his time crated, but has staked out the corner of the couch as his. He's started to eat, needs a trim, a bath, nailtrim and his first doctors appt is next wk.

@skinnylatte What brand are the boots Cookie wears? I have booties for the snow, but not for hot weather. Our winter boots are from Alaska, https://dogbooties.com/product-category/dog-booties/ but they are not meant for pavement.

@skinnylatte Thx! I don't have a problem losing the winter ones, they have stretchy velcro. But all the other ones I tried did not have the stretchy stuff and I lost a few to.
