A look at my latest project, Boho Haven. My client wanted something that felt comforting and stylish at the same time.

In designing a space I try and create a story. Who is living here? What do they do? For this design, the story I focused on was my client was an artist or collector. Her home was a reflection of those things. (Part 1)

And so the delivery drama begins. I didn't realize that the company I ordered my chair and desk from used UPS and FedEx to ship my stuff. What's worse is one part of the desk came UPS and the other part is coming FedEx. And I say is coming here because of course the UPS portion was already delivered but good 'ol FedEx is god knows where.

Woot! Cities Skylines 2 release day. I totally should have taken today off. Oh wells.

There has been a lot of discussion around the performance of the game and the devs have even admitted to not reaching the benchmarks they expected. If this was from a new company taking over the franchise I'd be concerned. For me, given the developers track record of providing updates I think it's going to be okay. I also don't feel bad pre-ordering knowing this. It's not like they are some huge game studio.

The client wanted more clutter in the hallway. I don't think they understand my obsession with clutter. Like my house is an explosion of knick knacks, books, random things.
