SwiftUI question: I have a fairly simple screen. I have a Text view that I want to always be vertically centered on the screen.
I then want to have other Views above and below that Text view.
Is there an easy way to do that? I don't want to vertically center the entire VStack, just the middle Text view. Or do I need to do some funky stuff with ZStack?
@bens@MuseumShuffle@bardi@podomunro With examples and animations? Yes, thank you! This is one of those things I 80% figure out about once/year, and then completely forget the next time I need it!
If you’re a company at a conference and you want me to actually remember you and what you do, give me socks. This is my 100% serious advice. I will think about you every week when I do laundry and when I put my socks on.
The ferry we were supposed to take to get to our next Greek island was cancelled due to very high winds, so we're having to stay an extra night on the island of Paros! Could be worse.
Important question for my fellow Swift developers who are using CloudKit + Core Data: Are you using NSPersistentCloudKitContainer, or are you managing CKRecords manually?
@podomunro I use both NSPCKC and Ensembles for syncing. The NSPCKC one is a small read only database that syncs with a CloudKit public database. The one synced with Ensembles is very large and complex. One of my entities has over 100 properties. And there are many relationships between the entities.
