The latest iteration of the NBA that produces games with scores in excess of 140 points is not a product I enjoy. I need good faith attempts at playing defense.

Just watched **True Detective **on HBO, it had some interesting moments. Not sure if I want to continue though.

Should I assume it peaked in season 1? Any other good seasons?

Google Maps now stores location data locally on your device, meaning that they no longer have data to turn over to the police.

The Box of Delights was a Christmas TV series I watched in the early 80s in the UK. I have no recollection of the story but the music I remembered almost exactly.

Who is old enough to remember the "I love you" Outlook exploit in the early 2000s?

I distinctly remember the engineer who clicked the attachment in our office shouting "I actually hate everyone" as he left for the day.

Netflix makes viewing data available.

Ted Sarandos, Netflix co-chief executive, acknowledged on Tuesday that the company’s “lack of data and lack of transparency” had created an “environment of mistrust” in Hollywood.

Starting to like Clipchamp and there are four new features coming.

The one I am looking forward to is the text-to-speech editing capability lets you change the language, voice, emotion, and pitch, and edit the script, from the property panel.

Loved this blog post by @kipters on "Setting up Docker on Windows ARM64" via WSL2 ♥️

Is this a scenario we should support in Visual Studio (where we take care of the initial setup)?

US architecture firm Inform Studio and Buro Happold designed a curved and stepped wood-covered pedestrian bridge to link two parks in Providence, Rhode Island.

To make this happen they removed the I-195 highway from downtown. The bridge was floated 12 miles into place.

I was looking for more specific claims on the perf of the Snapdragon X elite beyond simple benchmark tests. Here is one that resonates with me as a developer... 25% reduction in compile times using Visual Studio. Really promising stuff.

[Of course, so much depends on the solution/project]
