It's not that terrible (yet), but I'm getting increasingly more anxious about my money situation. If you have anything to spare and don't mind helping me out, you can do it on ko-fi.
Generally last few months weren't kind for me. I was forced into spending lots of money for the physical therapy of my foot toe that I smashed few months prior. If I haven't done that, I probably wouldn't be able to walk because of the nail rupturing into my skin, causing massive pain and infections.
Then, there's my good old problem - work hours. It's difficult to work and attend to day studies, especially since the job I do is working in 12 and 24 hour shifts meaning if I only have one singular class on any given day, I'm unable to work. So I take nights and it makes me basically die of exhaustion.
Then, there's a giant rent and other expensive bills to pay. My income isn't enough to fully cover it all and leave me with good amount of money to, you know, live.

I'm so fucking pissed that this rock in space - perhaps one and only of it's kind in existence - with myriad of fascinating and beautiful organisms and plant life, breathtaking geography and sights is literally murdered for the profit of the few.
Like, it's not even about the inequality and selfishness of these fucking assholes. It's just so depressing to thing about all the beauty on this planet we call Earth being killed for something so fucking insignificant.
I'm not saying we as human life are the parasite. But there are parasites among us.
And perhaps we should do something about them before they destroy all we have forever.

Jeśli ktoś mówi "Ukry", zamiast Ukraińcy to zwykle jest doskonały wyznacznik z jakim szacunkiem generalnie wypowiada się o innych ludziach. Dobry rule of thumb.
Doesn't matter, it's not up for me to decide. However, there are humanitarian methods employed in such cases and our government should be held to do just that. Setting up camps, probing the people before letting them in, providing for them in the meantime.
Not pushing them back, not walling them off.
As I was saying before: nothing excuses treating people like shit just because they were tricked into crossing the border for political reasons. We can do better than that.
Edit: also, storming the border? Are you seriously calling people taking the trek through the forest with all their belongings and family "storming a border"? They are not troopers, they're fucking victims of a cynical, political action.
This is 10 April 2024, a group of over 200 people, exclusively men, mostly masked and well equipped, literally stormed the border fence, engaging in fight with Polish border guards. In the past they routinely attacked Polish guards with strobe lights, tear gas, stun grenades and other non-lethal weapons usually only available to special forces. You seem to have missed two years of updates, as there’s no families, women or children seen on the border since the war started. You have no idea who these young men are, some could be actual migrants, some could be “Wagner” soldiers.
