it seems the options for cute trash cans are atrocious.. maybe I'll use a too-small laundry hamper

lists of trash cans are all just various steel or plastic cylinders, at best in different colors. sometimes the wastebaskets are cool but they dont have lids. then you have these awful cheap cabinet contraptions with a built in hook for a plastic trash can (trash can not included)

on the other hand you have these perfectly functional lidded laundry hampers, just waiting to be good trash cans imo

Listening today to Jean-Michel Blais. Turned on the local radio and they had a song from this album playing, had to go and hear the whole thing. In his own words a "poppy" "accessible" multi instrument (seems mostly analog?) orchestral album. It seems every song cascades between different moods, each one it's own story

I like Son Of Godzilla a lot, mostly because of the kaiju and miniature work, but I also have a soft spot for Minilla, especially after you see later iterations of Godzilla Jr that suck

uneventful picture of the current permutation of my regular breakfast, featuring horseradish on my greek yogurt, an eaten radish, and arugala sprouts. growing boy needed to add an extra hashbrown patty and sausage so I don't get immediately starving in 2 hours
