One thing I have noticed that is different now that I have resumed geocaching after a bit of a hiatus: Dog poop bags. People pick up and bag their dog poop, very good, but then they just CHUCK THE BAG IN THE BUSHES. Three times already I have thought a bag might be protecting a cache and instead it's a bag of poop.

WTF people? It'd be better to just let your dog shit in a bush directly than going to the trouble of bagging it and just chucking it in the woods. Take it and put it in a bin FFS!

@llamasoft_ox 💯 I don't know why some dog owners feel they can just leave their dog's shit everywhere and it's not their problem. Feels honestly since having a dog I have become more and more annoyed at the irresponsible ones.

I've been browsing through what people have been saying re: and hearing that one of the side quests on Titan New Homestead is pretty good. Confidentially, this is also the same spot I decided to stop playing. What am I missing? I'm hoping I'll have some time to come back but on a Series S space is at such a premium to have games you only want to dip into occasionally.

@Laukidh ah yeah, I do know it. I accepted it but never got started so maybe I'll give it a go. 👍

Everyone has different tastes in games. To me, Starfield is pretty great. It takes a little longer to open up to that patented Bethesda "oh lemme just check this area out" part, but beyond that it should feel very familiar.

Only thing I can really knock is that because of all the spaceflight and loading it doesn't quite match Skyrim's "walk in that direction" feeling.

10 hours in I feel like I've barely scratched a lot of Starfield's systems.

Linux + ATI plays great.

@davesnider I think if they were somehow able to disguise the loading between indoor and outside areas it would have gone a long way to feel more immersive.

@BBCRD It's great to see the BBC expanding its digital reach on to a free and open decentralised platform. The BBC's news arm is vital to people around the world - reclaiming control over the medium is essential.
