@DJDarren I regularly think of all the twitter pals gone for many different reasons... (I found a photo of John underwood and me the other day...) it's all going away so quickly; I'm having quite the existential crisis these days
I’m very much enjoying all the people posting about stupid Vision Pro is, and how it’ll never catch on, and will be saving their posts for its tenth anniversary, when it’s on its tenth generation and barely fatter than a pair of regular glasses and everyone thinks it’s great.
I'm looking a co-op game to play with my wife that has a decent story, and that can be played in the same room?
We played It Takes Two recently, which was fun (although incredibly difficult in some places), but it seems to be fairly unusual in that it it's a split screen. Most co-op games these days seem to need to be played separately, meaning we have to communicate via voice comms.
Feeling weirdly caught between chill and melancholy this evening.
The couple of days spent helping my MiL weren’t anywhere near as arduous as I feared they’d be, and while the drive up there yesterday was crappy (3 hours for a <2 hour journey), the drive back today was nice.
Drunk a couple of beers, watched some TV, mooched about online.
Bed time now, with a lay in tomorrow, and not a huge amount to do. Looking forward to it.
Oh, I'm made up! The official festival photographer has added my photos to the Sidmouth Folk Festival photos! I'm in the seafront albums Saturday 5th, and Sunday 6th, and also the horse trials album Sunday 6th. I'm doing my hobby well! (Yes, hobbies should just be about doing a thing to enjoy it, but my brain needs to know I'm doing it correctly and perfectly for me to enjoy it. Hooray for external validation) https://www.kylebakerphotography.com/sidmouth-folk-festival-2023
@DJDarren ah... for example, I was supposed to be going to Edinburgh for a few days today but my flight was cancelled and the new flights they offered just wouldn't work out... so, of course, I'm cursed and must never make plans to do anything fun ever again.
@DJDarren they didn't say why, I suspect they were taking off all their morning flights - D offered to drive me to Brizz for their morning flight but, me being me, didn't want to make him drive so far (and back) just for a frivolity.
