In a not-shocking turn of events for a century home with a 20 year old hot water heater, the hot water heater leaked

Which led to the discovery of another leak in the water line that feeds into the hot water heater

And to dry out the basement they had to test the floor under the destroyed laminate floor for asbestos

Which came back positive

And in order to 1) fix the leak 2) replace the hot water heater 3) dry out the basement

They have to remediate the whole basement 🫠

my good friend is getting ready to cycle the #goldenCircle ride from Haines, Ak -> #Whitehorse #yukon -> Skagway, Ak - he’ll be in Whitehorse Thursday May 30th and has a half day to see sights by bike and is looking for recommendations or friends if anyone has ideas
