Does Google Chrome really have text generation built in now?
Why are companies and society promoting a world where coming generation wont be able to do the most basic task, like writing a short text?
@selea I wouldn’t say I welcome this future, but I can imagine a world where instead of communicating purely as we are now, future people will parse every thought through some kind of tool before it goes out. It may even be beneficial; some people today find it very difficult to accurately convey how they feel through their words. But if they had access to a tool to help them hone down what they want to convey more meaningfully, I wouldn’t necessarily see it as a crutch.
@selea yes, in the sense that in ten years whoever is maintaining it will make millions because nobody wants to touch it but some companies have based their entire infrastructure on it
@selea this makes me think about those less tech savvy. To my knowledge chrome never suggests to close tabs, and defaults to make new ones all the time.
So I guess the only time tabs are closed, is when people buy a new phone?
