It’s not nothing, but I definitely expected something in the realm of 25 given how prominently it was being splashed around. Also, I’m still a little disappointed that we aren’t in the S tier of commercial brands in football clubs. I still can’t believe United got Teamviewer to almost bankrupt themselves…

Maybe we get an extra Dubai trip every year on their dime? That alone might be worth it.

So something that I’ve not heard many people talking about recently is the fact that City are (correctly) trying to run up the scoreline in recent matches. I think Pep knows there’s a good chance that a fluke draw/loss is incoming, and that they are trying to play it safe by making sure their GD is on par with ours. To that end, we really need to blast Bournemouth away. None of these Reiss Nelson last minute scenes, I want 5-0 by half time.

There is definitely some knee-jerkiness with that rating, but on the flip side, he had to make 0 saves, meaning that the spotlight was going to be dispropotionately pointed to his error. On top of that, I think most would agree that his error singlehandedly let Spurs back into it, and I’m sure I’m not the only one who blamed him for my heart rate spiking in the last 20 minutes of the match.

Fotmob gave him a 5.5 and WhoScored gave him a 5.11, so I don’t even think our rating is out of line.

I can’t find anything specific that says you’re not allowed to throw/sandbag, etc. but I think the 6th bullet of the Owner’s Charter would allow the league to punish them:

“We understand the importance of a football pyramid that rewards success on the pitch, upholds promotion and relegation and qualification for other competitions by current sporting merit.”

I think some people forget that these are athletes that have had one word seared into their brains since they were 5 - “WIN”.
