this sounded weird so i looked it up, and it seems to be a sort of mistranslation, iranian soldiers were given a booklet of pamphlets called “Keys to Paradise” along their dogtags en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plastic_key_to_paradise

from few encounters it really seems like he dips into the void for weeks randomly. after he wanted to have something explained over matrix he didn’t reply for like two four months. really taking instant out of instant messaging

we have mkultra at home

on the other hand, that’s just speedrunning being jordan peterson

on the third hand, our very good friend apparently never had been drunk

on the fourth hand, our very good friend also didn’t clock that maybe his ability to assess his own mental state was disturbed (it was) (severely)

on the fifth hand, this is an effect of many drugs, iv line suggests midazolam but maybe ketamine was an option. neither are exactly easily available for regular civilian (other benzos are)

first principling that benzos are completely safe, yeah way to go, 10/10. also not their first rodeo, but lwers on drugs would be megaminds on adderal, at least that’s what could be noticed previously

that’s a very carefully worded comment. there’s a reason why benzos were commonly prescribed in the past (but less so now)

it sounds like what they’re trying to do is Wada test, for no particular reason, with zero knowledge what they’re trying to do or what tools do they need for that

about everything what could they learn from that is already described in psychiatry and psychology textbooks, but it’s too hard for homeschooled first-principlers like them

at least crypto isn’t involved this time. few understand (real world economics)

it does seem mildly useful science.org/…/screening-against-alphafold-models-…

note that google’s thing is pattern matching, and if there’s few similar protein structures in literature, then alphafold is working on poor quality data. comments do notice a red flag or two

also note that the big failures come from faulty biology, not from faulty chemistry. You can set innumerable piles of cash on fire if you choose to plug a wrong enzyme

also note it’s from january so not about the new thing

you have to fail intro to qm 101 and/or be stoned out of your mind to think this way

skillissuer,
@skillissuer@discuss.tchncs.de avatar

planetary orbits are not quantized, for starters. atomic orbitals are occupied by pairs (at most) of electrons, and this is because of qm spin exists which has no analogue in large scale. electrons aren’t spinning around on an orbit, they’re more of a smudged standing wave. it’s also a staple among vapid thonkers like mckenna

skillissuer,
@skillissuer@discuss.tchncs.de avatar

it’s not commonly discussed because it’s wrong

skillissuer,
@skillissuer@discuss.tchncs.de avatar

these are f orbitals, there is 5 of d orbitals

the idea is old, check out Liberdad class underwater gliders. Pretty stealthy and energy efficient but sloow

protip: hot glass looks the same as cold glass

you don’t need to check everything. let’s say that spot is 10px wide, then you can check every 8th pixel meaning now you only need to check 16x12 px. then, maximum is gotta be in one of these 8x8 squares around shiny pixel, so you can sample middle of each to find out where it might be. then, scan that 8x8 square pixel by pixel to find maximum

this might be reason for not using absurdly good optics

idk about manpads, but non-imaging sidewinders had reticle spinning at 100-125Hz. performance required does not imply some alien technology

skillissuer,
@skillissuer@discuss.tchncs.de avatar

that’s for wii, imaging sensor in a missile will be much more complex and probably includes UV sensor as well (you’re not tracking a blob, but shape)

do you even get back energy used up on making that plasma in the first place? how badly does it get fucked up by HCl? these trucks are still infrastructure, just mobile and not even real. it has a hint of hyperloop trying to eliminate new railway projects

also trucking waste to waste energy extraction plant would probably still use up less energy than trucking around entire facility. this all makes it sound like badly thought out nonsense

so one in 4k or so. not terribly uncommon
